Chronic Pain
Sometimes chronic pain can begin without any obvious cause, but for many people, it starts after an injury or health condition. Chronic pain is defined as a pain that lasts at least 3 months. It can affect your daily life and your mental health. Pain symptoms can range from mild to severe. It can continue daily or come and go. The pain can feel like aching, throbbing, burning, shooting, stinging, soreness, or stiffness. Sometimes pain is just one of the symptoms. It can also affect your energy level, change your appetite, affect your sleeping, or make you feel weak. Chronic pain can interfere with your daily life. It can affect your self-esteem and cause you to feel angry, depressed, anxious, and scared. Working with a pain specialist, we will help you find relief from your pain so it won’t keep you from living your best life.
Ozone Therapy
Ozone therapy uses medical-grade ozone created using an ozone generator device. The intent of ozone therapy is to increase the amount of oxygen in your body.A higher oxygen level can boost your immune system while promoting healing, explains Dr. Hosny. It does that through cell regeneration — the process of replacing or repairing damaged cells. The benifits:
Ketamine Therapy
Ketamine therapy is a treatment approach that uses low doses of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic medication, to manage various mental health conditions, such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and chronical pain complaints.
Ketamine infusion therapy is a treatment option for individuals with mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety, as well as chronic pain conditions. It involves the administration of ketamine, a medication that has been shown to be effective in reducing the symptoms of these conditions, through an intravenous (IV) infusion.
How often should you get ketamine infusion therapy treatments?
The frequency of ketamine infusion therapy treatments will vary depending on the individual and the condition being treated. Some people may experience significant symptom improvement after just a few treatments, while others may need more frequent treatments to maintain their progress.
Treatment frequency and duration:
In general, ketamine infusion therapy is typically administered on an outpatient basis, with treatment sessions lasting around 40-60 minutes. The number of treatments an individual will need will depend on the severity of their condition and their response to treatment. Some people may only need a few treatments, while others may require a series of treatments over a period of time in order to achieve the desired results.
It is important to note that ketamine infusion therapy is not a “cure” for mood disorders or chronic pain conditions. These are often chronic conditions that require ongoing treatment and management. Most people will need to continue with other forms of treatment, such as medication and therapy, in order to maintain their progress and prevent future episodes of their condition.
Ketamine is approved for use at high doses as an anesthetic in the operating room. Although not FDA-approved, lower dose “sub-anesthetic” ketamine injections are used “off-label” to treat depression, pain, and other mental health/substance use disorders. In recent times, there have been many factors contributing to increased depression across wide populations. There are several medications available for depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders which involve daily administration of a medication aimed at correction of neurochemical imbalances via action at specific brain receptors (e.g. serotonin, dopamine, mu opioid).
